Kim Ha Neul was suffering from claustrophobia and panic disorder

On September 17th broadcast of SBS TV's “Healing Camp”, actress Kim Ha Neul revealed about her weakness where she was once suffering from claustrophobia along with panic disorder.

Kim Ha Neul stated, “When I was filming “Dr. K”, I was only 20 years old. At that time, the scene required me to put on a plaster mask, I was totally frightened. It was pretty serious that I felt uncomfortable in enclosed places and I didn't even like to sit in an airplane or going to a theater. I even felt terrified by just closing the door.”

The actress confessed, “I was under the supervision of some treatment, but the result did not come out very well. Before wrapping the “The Gentleman's Dignity”, I received more therapy as well, and I was even on medication when I was shooting for the new pictorial in France, but still, I did not feel any better.”

Kim Ha Neul added, “I tried hard to over come with these handicaps and I barely have any now. I thought to myself, if I do not take the plane, and I can not go to the theater, there are more things that I am not capable of. There were only foreigners during the trip to France, when I felt frightened, I looked around and saw other people they were so relax and chit chatting with other people and thought to myself that why is it only me that would feel uneasy, I felt much better after asking myself the same question.”
