Actor Kim Soo Hyun visited Japan recently to attend the preview screening and press conference for his drama ‘The Moon That Embraces The Sun’.
The special screening was separated into 2 sessions to accommodate the huge number of fans clamouring to catch a glimpse of Kim Soo Hyun, and showing his Hallyu star presence.
During the screening, fans started cheering loudly when exciting scenes from the drama were shown. After the screening, fans were notably impressed with Kim Soo Hyun and the other cast members’ acting and were full of anticipation for the drama to be shown on television.
Following the screening, Kim Soo Hyun begun a marathon session with numerous media from newspaper agencies, magazine publishers and radio and television crew, numbering more than 100 of them who wanted to be the first to interview him.
Kim Soo Hyun revealed his thoughts about the drama airing in Japan and experiences while filming the drama. He also said that the drama was one of the most precious experiences he could ever have as an actor.
KNTV will be showing the drama officially in August, which had obtained ratings as high as 42.2% when it was shown earlier through MBC earlier this year.
Kim Soo Hyun will remain in Japan for more media interviews before returning to Korea.
