28 Jul - It was reported that "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" actor Kim Soo-hyun and comedian Kim Jun-hyun both received awards at "The 39th Korea Broadcasting Awards".
According to Allkpop website, the event awarded the actor for his performance in the hit MBC drama, "The Moon That Embraces the Sun". Meanwhile, comedian Kim Jun-hyun won an accolade for his comedic performances on KBS' "Gag Concert".
Kim In-kyu, Chairman of the Korean Broadcasters Association revealed that they have chosen Kim Jun-hyun for the "Comedian Award" and Kim Soo-hyun for the "Talent Award" as well as 24 other recipients for the other 24 categories.
The preliminary decisions for the awards had taken place from 10 to 20 July.
Meanwhile, the winner of the Daesang award, which will go to one of the named recipients, will be announced at the official ceremony to be held at the KBS Hall on 3 September.
