Speaking out for friends who are in pain, Kim Yoo Jung was appointed as a spokesperson for child abuse prevention on September 12 in Uijungbu, Gyeonggi-do.
Kim Yoo Jung will be working with the governmental staff to bring more awareness to child abuses, especially during a time when sexual assault cases against children are occurring all around Korea.
She will be participating in November 19’s ‘Child Abuse Prevention Day,’ where several seminars and campaigns will occur to help abused children and their families.
“I found out that children around my age were being abused and in pain,” said Kim Yoo Jung, whose bright and pure image helped her be chosen. ”I hope that I can help bring more attention and interest to the children around us.”
Kim Yoo Jung is best known for her acting in MBC’s The Sun and the Moon as well as May Queen.
