Australian ice cream brand Peters Ice Cream had once launched the Thunderbolt ice block in tribute of the legendary band KISS back in the 1980s, and it was massively popular during their heyday.
Nowadays, even people in their thirties have very little recollection of the popsicle's existence, that is until now as the KISS Thunderbolt will be relaunched and will be on sale on eBay before the product even gets to be on shelves in Australia, this 14 February.
The Thunderbolt ice block will coincide with the upcoming KISS "Monster" tour in Australia, celebrating the band's 40th anniversary.
The popsicle is named after the KISS hit song "God of Thunder", and is lemonade, raspberry and cola in flavour, which is absolutely fitting as you compare it to the band's shock appeal and loud personality.
With this news, we wonder what flavours other rock stars might be as ice creams, and what they would be called. Here are a few ideas:
Cherry Bomb!

The Runaways were the all-girl band that inspired generations of girls to get into the male infused music world. The band was even the starting point for Joan Jett, and had a film made recently about them starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. "Cherry Bomb!" was their most successful single, and to have a cherry soda flavoured popsicle in tribute would be perfect.
Pop is Dead

Though it may have been rejected by Radiohead completely if there was an ice cream to be made for them, having an ice lolly named after one of their songs, "Pop is Dead", or even "Coke Baby" if we could get away with it, would sell like hotcakes. It would be a popsicle in a dark soda flavour, either Dr. Pepper or Coke, with a little liquorice flavouring to it to make it slightly strange.
The Jailhouse Rock

In tribute to the King of Rock and Roll, we think the best flavour for his own ice cream is his favourite sandwich. The ice cream could be peanut butter and jelly flavoured, with bits of banana in it. Elvis fans all around the world, young and old would want to have a taste of a bit of iced Elvis.
We can't wait to see if the KISS Thunderbolt would reach our own shores!
