Kristen Stewart is reportedly devastated that she's been labelled a "scarlet woman".
It was recently revealed that the actress had an affair with married father-of-two Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
Rupert's wife Liberty Ross is believed to have started divorce proceedings, and Kristen is allegedly feeling devastated that she has broken up a marriage.
"Kristen broke down in floods of tears after learning that Liberty was planning to divorce Rupert. She feels like the scarlet woman and says she can't forgive herself for hurting Rupert's children," a source told British magazine Closer.
"She's said she doesn't care about her career taking a hit, but was crying saying, 'Those poor kids. I never meant to hurt them.'"
Meanwhile, Kristen's estranged beau Robert Pattinson has seemingly been putting on a brave face to promote his new movie Cosmopolis.
However, insiders say the Twilight star is struggling to cope in the wake of Kristen's cheating scandal.
"Rob seemed happy and upbeat during his official appearances last week, but he joked that he was doing the best acting of his life," the source revealed.
