Lawrence Ng denies gambling addiction
27 Feb – Hong Kong actor Lawrence Ng has recently dismissed rumours of his gambling addiction.
As reported on Sina News, previously, the Hong Kong tabloids reported that the "Healing Hands" actor has taken up gambling again after his divorce from wife, Shi Yang Zi.
The actor, who had once admitted to come from a family who is fond of gambling, reportedly has been travelling to Macau every week for the purpose of visiting casinos.
He was also reported to have spent his holidays at the casinos with Michael Miu, and losing thousands of dollars on a high-stake bet. Nonetheless, Lawrence continued playing the game and even had a 'mahjong' session when he returned to Hong Kong later on.
However, the actor had since denied the rumours of addiction, saying, "I did not gamble my fortune away. I will never do such a thing."
Lawrence stressed that he only gambles for fun, and would never risk his assets.
