Lee Jun Ki wins the grand award during 'SKAPA Award 2012 Korean Wave Category'
Actor Lee Jun Ki garnered the Grand Award at Japan's SKAPA Award 2012.
'SKAPA Award 2012' was held on September 27th in Japan, and it's a major awards ceremony that decide the most popular TV programs. This year's one was the 5th one.
During this year's 'SKAPA Award 2012', they recognized a program that engendered a new trend, and gave an award as well.
'Lee Jun Ki's JG STYLE!', which won the grand award under Korean Wave Category, is a real documentary program that shows his ordinary life, and not only did he casted in the program, but he also participated in the editing, showing great passion for the program.
Especially, Lee Jun Ki's such an achievement is more precious, because made the show while going through busy schedules.
Lee Jun Ki couldn't attend the awards ceremony, because he had to shoot MBC drama 'Arang and the Magistrate'.
However, he sent a video message, and said, "I feel very honored to receive such a prestigious award. It's all thanks to the viewers' endless support."
He continued, "I really wanted to attend the ceremony to express my thanks, but I'm sorry that I couldn't. I'll try to make my next visit to Japan as soon as possible."
On the other hand, a great number of Japanese celebrities appeared during the event to introduce and hand out awards to the winners.
