Lee Seung Gi back with a new solo concert
Lee Seung Gi returned as a singer.
On November 30th, Lee Seung Gi's solo concert '2013 Lee Seung Gi Hope Concert' was held at Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium.
The venue was filled up with approximately 10 thousand audience, and Lee Seung Gi presented an unforgettable concert experience.
Lee Seung Gi opened the stage with an electronic remixed version of 'You Are My Girl' and 'Nobody', and surprised the audience by showing a shuffle dance in a LED costume.
After the performance, Lee Seung Gi continued with ballad numbers, including 'Yelling', 'Delete', and 'Good Lie'. A live band and a string session supported Lee Seung Gi from his back, and the audience started falling into a mood.
Two sub-stages were installed at the sides of the main stage for this year's concert, and Lee Seung Gi said, "I wanted to make this place like my own home."
The sub-stages were decorated as a small movie theater and a study. Films 'Romeo & Juliet', 'Leon', 'Notting Hill', and 'Cinema Paradiso' were played at Lee Seung Gi's background, and he sang 'Shadow of Breakup', 'Please', 'Will You Marry Me', and 'Return'.
While the first half of the concert was composed of relatively romantic songs, the second half was filled with much more lively songs.
The 2nd half started with SISTAR19's performance of 'GONE NOT AROUND ANY LONGER', and Lee Seung Gi showed a surprise performance SISTAR's Bora.
Afterwards, Lee Seung Gi sang a medley of old Korean pops, 'Losing My Mind', 'Crazy For You', 'Like A Flower', and 'Smile Boy'.
The concert was held for three hours, and he finished up the show with 'Let's Go On A Vacation'. However, the audience could not leave their seats, and Lee Seung Gi ran out to the stage again for an encore performance. Lee Seung Gi officially finished the show after singing 'Let's Break Up', and 'Last Words'
During the concert, Lee Seung Gi said, "Only 4~5 teams get to perform here. Thank you everyone for making this show possible."
Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi will have another show on December 1st at the same place.
