Balenciaga has finally unveiled Kristen Stewart’s first ad campaign for new fragrance Florabotanica.
But if you expected to see the Twilight actress looking all sweet and fluffy a la Natalie Portman for Christian Dior, think again!
Fronting up to the camera in a structured dress from Nicolas Ghesquière's Spring/Summer 2008 collection, Kristen retains her signature, errm, edge?
Fixing a glare on the camera – handled by fashion snapper Steven Meisel – KStew says she went for a naturally moody pose after the Balenciaga crew asked her to ‘act natural’.
Talking to WWD about her shots, Kristen said: “I think that's kind of perfect for this particular ad. Usually, a fragrance ad would definitely be (sexy)."
"When I first stood there, I was like, 'OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?' And they were like, 'Just be comfortable.'"
Oh KStew, we do love your aggressive take on comfort!
