23 Oct – Actress Maggie Cheung Ho-yee recently denied claims that she has been indecisive about her career path between her new station, CTI and her old station, TVB.
According to Asian Crunch, on 18 October, at the pre-shooting ceremony of CTI's new series, "Hakka Women" in Guangzhou, the actress denied reports of her going back to TVB, stating, "I have faith in CTI and there are many series to shoot. I cannot do that [contacting TVB]. That's immoral."
The actress also indirectly criticised TVB, by expressing the kindness of her new boss, Ricky Wong, and praised CTI for taking the production so seriously, saying that the scripts were prepared accordingly before work starts. When asked if TVB was like that, Maggie stated, "Never had that. I wasn't that close with the executives."
Although she currently has a contract with CTI, technically, Maggie has freedom to appear on other TV stations. However, the actress stated that she cannot attend "The Last Steep Ascent" promotions for TVB, saying that "I don't think TVB is being sensitive, it is just business related company policies."
