Mallika Sherawat Booted Out Of 'Mumbai Mirror'?

A few days ago, we had reported that Mallika Sherawat has been finalized to play the female lead opposite Sachiin Joshi in upcoming film Mumbai Mirror where Joshi would play a quirky cop and Mallika would play a glamorous bar dancer. However, now it seems that the sultry Sherawat has been booted out of the project just a month before the shooting of the film was supposed to start.

Sources claim that the high-handed attitude of the actress is to be blamed for the decision on part of the producers. A source was quoted to have said, "Even Sachiin is mincing no words when telling people how difficult Mallika is. He's sparing no details about her tantrums."

However, Mallika's spokesperson has a different story to tell, it seems. Refuting the allegations, the spokesperson was quoted saying, "She was verbally committed to the film but is awaiting the final script. But that did not come on time and so she opted out."

Mumbai Mirror is supposed to revolve around the dark underbelly of Mumbai and also explore the nexus between police, politicians and powerful dance bar lords. Veteran actor Nana Patekar is reportedly playing the antagonist in the film.
