Mandy Wong to play seductress in new series

24 Mar – TVB actress Mandy Wong recently revealed that she will be playing the role of a seductress for the first time in her new series.

According to On CC, the actress revealed that she has been watching several Cantonese films about the tragic lives of young female servants in order to understand her character better.

"In the series, my character will be seducing men in a very reserved fashion," the actress enthused, though was secretive about the actual plot of the series.

The series, which takes place in the early Republic Era of China, will also star Kenneth Ma and Niki Chow.

When asked if she is afraid of working with Kenneth, who is often rumoured to date his female co-stars, Mandy said, "We have collaborated in the past, so there is nothing to be afraid of."

Filming will begin in April in Hong Kong and continued in Fushan, China around June this year.
