21 Oct – It was reported that three months after recuperating from liver problems, Taiwanese host Matilda Tao has requested for a reduction in workload to ease herself.
According to Groove Asia website, the 43-year-old baby-faced TV personality recently requested for her production crews to ease her burden of workload due to her health problems. Tao reportedly asked for her hosting jobs to be cut down from five episodes a week to four, prompting speculations that she is still suffering from constant health issues.
In May, Matilda Tao took a month-long work break to rest due to her liver problems and only returned in July after convinced that she had recuperated.
On 18 October, the TV personality confirmed the rumour, stating, "It's tiring to host five episodes a week as it usually ends around 9pm. I can't cope with the original schedule anymore, so I [requested] to change it [to four episodes]."
Meanwhile, it was reported that the production team has made an arrangement for Taiwanese model Annie Chen and children's show host, Butterfly Sister, Chien Chu Ling to stand in for Matilda during her absence.
