27 Jul - TVB actor Matthew Ko had recently invested about HKD 500k (SGD 81k) in early childhood education, Hong Kong media reported.
Matthew revealed that he came up with the idea of establishing an early childhood centre five years ago. He is glad that he finally has the chance to implement his idea into reality.
"Nowadays there are a lot of parents who emphasise a lot on early childhood education, so I think the investment is a wise decision", he told the reporter and added that the centre will be operating in September.
In regards to whether he will teach the kids personally, he replied that he will hire some experienced trainers for his centre as he still loves and will not give up his acting career for the time being moment.
However, he said he will be in charge of decorating the centre and designing the school uniform. He stated that there will be a variety of talent classes such as singing, drama acting and dancing available in his centre.
