29 Nov – The chemistry between the two leads is so real and sincere that there is no question that viewers of the movie would envy the couple. It is also a testament to Maya Karin and Aaron Aziz's acting skills in the movie "Ombak Rindu".
The actress of "Pisau Cukur" praised the professionalism of her co-star, Aaron, when asked about her experience working with the fan favourite. His work ethic allowed the racy and intimate scenes that needed to be done for the movie to be easily completed although she admitted that she was nervous during the production.
"It was fun to act with Aaron. Like other fans, he is also my favourite hero. He is a professional and he showed me a lot of respect. On set, he knew when was the right time to joke and when to allow me time to concentrate on getting myself in the mood of the character," said the 32-year-old actress in an interview during the press preview of "Ombak Rindu" recently.
She added, "I admit that I was very nervous every time we were to start a racy or intimate scene for the movie. Honestly, I really wanted to film the bed scene because it would be the first time I did such a scene in my career. At first, it was a little strange and awkward for me, but with God's blessing, everything went well."
Osman Ali's novel-adapted romance will grace audiences in Malaysia's cinemas come 1 December.
