20 Jun – Japanese reggae artist MINMI would be releasing a special best-of album for her 10th anniversary on 22 August, a month after the release of her next single "Lalala ~Ai no Uta~" on 4 July.
According to Tokyo Hive, the album, titled "MINMI BEST Ame Nochi Niji 2002-2012" would be a two-disc compilation, with the first disc containing her debut single "The Perfect Vision", and other hit songs such as "Summertime!!", "Shanana", "Ave Maria" and "Hybiscus". The second disc will have her more recent collaborations.
MINMI is also planning to go on a five-location nationwide tour after the release of the best-of album that would kickstart at the Yokohama Blitz on 29 November. The tour will end on 31 December at the Osakajou Hall.
MINMI made her debut as the first Japanese reggae artist in 2002. She released her first single "The Perfect Vision" that became widely popular and sold 500,000 copies. Throughout her ten-year career, MINMI has released four studio albums and also became a lifestyle and fashion icon.
