Nancy Wu wants Best Actress nomination
17 Jan – 2014 will be the year of Best Actress nominations, which TVB actress Nancy Wu hopes to obtain.
According to ET Net, the actress, who sat down for an interview recently, revealed that she is hoping to portray more diverse roles in 2014, and aims for a Best Actress award instead.
"I hope 2013 will be the last year that I am nominated for the Best Supporting Actress category," she enthused.
"At the same time, in 2014, I hope that I can make more improvements. Though winning an award is not my mission in life, I will put my hard work and will be really pleased if I get a Best Actress nomination," said Nancy.
She also revealed that she will be filming a new series, "Business War" later this year, where she will play female lead for the first time.
Meanwhile, when asked about her love life, Nancy, who has been dating advertisement executive, Patt Sham for nearly two years, said that Patt understands her work very well since his job enables him to be acquainted with a lot of celebrities.
"We accommodate with each other in order to keep a stable relationship," said Nancy, but added that they have no plans to get married at the moment.
When asked what made her love him, Nancy was all smiles and said, "His artistic talent is what attracted me to him."
