Nick Shen doing well after leaving Mediacorp
16 Jul - Former Mediacorp artiste Nick Shen told reporters that he is doing well after leaving Mediacorp earlier this year, ending his 12-year contract with the company.
After leaving Mediacorp, he received a number of invitations from movie directors and advertisers. He was also invited to perform for a stage play in Shanghai of May this year.
Nick Shen was the winner of the Singaporean TV reality show "All Asian Star Search" in 1999. Since he entered the TV world, he has since been steadily gaining credibility for his hard work and talent.
He revealed that he felt unsure about his future at the time when he left Mediacorp. "I had a lot of questions in my mind at that time, everything seemed so restless", he told the reporter.
Singaporean audiences can still catch him on the movie screen in "My Ghost Partner", which is slated for release on 23 August.
