Dallas star Patrick Duffy admits he initially “struggled” to cope with fame.
The 63-year-old actor shot to fame playing heartthrob Bobby Ewing in the 80s. Dallas was a huge success and Patrick attracted fans all over the world. At first, the star couldn’t cope with so much attention.
“I struggled at the beginning, getting to grips with being such a recognised person. But after a while you realise it’s such a blessing to work at all in our business,” he told a UK TV show.
Patrick has now reprised his role as Bobby for the Dallas reboot. The new episodes proved a hit and another season has been given the go-ahead. The actor insists he is thrilled to be working on the show again.
“If I am going to be known as Bobby Ewing for the rest of my life, then I say absolutely, I am so glad,” Patrick explained.
The star also hinted that other old faces could return to Dallas in the future.
“I love having the tantalising idea that anyone could come back into the show,” he smiled.© Cover Media
