Prank of the year? Girl with telekinetic powers scares patrons sh*tless

Before you pick up your pitch forks and march down the street shouting "Burn that witch!", let us re-assure you that this is just a publicity stunt. A darn good one too.

This video was made to promote the 'Carrie' re-make, starring Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore. This brilliant prank - using fake walls, remote controlled tables and chairs and hidden pulleys among other things - shows a girl freaking out and unleashing her telekinetic powers after a "stranger" knocks over her cup of coffee in a small cafe.

The funniest bit is, of course, looking at the expressions on unsuspecting patrons who thought they were witnessing some sort of supernatural event. Only for them to realise later that they were caught on camera dropping their drinks and squealing like little girls, watched by millions of people worldwide. Whoops!

'Carrie' is set to open in Malaysian cinemas on 7 November 2013.
