Director Priyadarshan and cinematographer Santosh Sivan had teamed up together for Kaalapaani way back in 1996. Now, after a period of 16 years, the duo will be coming together again for an action flick starring Jackky Bhagnani, sources claim.
Confirming the news, Priyadarshan was quoted to have said, "Its an action film that deals with the problems of today's youth and the conflict between love and lust. People mistake lust for love and relationships go for a toss."
On his part, Jackky seemed pleasantly surprised at being offered the role and was quoted to have exclaimed, "I was dumbstruck when I was offered the role by Priyan. I am happy to work with such a big director." The director is reportedly yet to finalise the rest of the cast of the film, which will go on floors on June 1, 2012.
Priyadarshan's upcoming film is Tezz, a thriller starring Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor, amongst other stars like Zayed Khan, Sameera Reddy, Kangana Ranaut, Boman Irani and Mohanlal.
