Prosecutors have demanded a one-year prison sentence for Amy, who was charged with possession and use of propofol.
In the first hearing held on October 18, the prosecution stated, "The accused has recognized her crime and is regretting her actions, but because crimes regarding drugs are severe, the punishment should be heavy."
Amy′s attorney said, "The accused was very stressed as a TV personality, so much that she suffered from panic disorders. She wasn′t very aware of the illegality of propofol, and since she has never committed any crimes in the area, she is eligible for favorable treatment."
Amy answered "yes" when asked whether she accepts her charges, and asked for favorable treatment saying, "Whether it be a mistake or an accident, I know I was at fault and I am in regret. Please give me one more chance so I can become a person of good deeds."
Amy was arrested for injecting propofol at a nail shop in Gangnam in April. Her sentence will be given in the final trial to be held on November 1.
