‘Bird uncle’ PSY and JYJ will perform at the 18th Korean presidential inauguration ceremony of Park Geun Hye scheduled for later this week.
The schedules detailing the various events that will take place prior and during the inauguration ceremony were revealed last Friday on February 15th, and the names of PSY and JYJ were among those that were listed.
According to the schedule, pre-inauguration ceremony events will take place from 9:20AM on February 25th at the Nation Assembly Square in Seoul. The events will be hosted by comedians from KBS 2TV ‘Gag Concert’, with a solo saenap performance from Kim Duk Soo, Kim Duk Soo’s Samul Nori performance, and classic song performances from Kim Young Im.
To cater for the generational changes, videos and songs reflecting upon each generation of Korean history will be showcased. PSY will perform ‘Champion’ and ‘Gangnam Style’, while JYJ will perform ‘Oh! Pilseung Korea’ plus a remix stage of popular songs from 1990 to 2000. In addition, others who are scheduled to perform include Jang Yoon Jung, musical actor Nam Kyung Ju, Sonya, and many more will also appear on stage
