25 Sep – It was revealed that PSY has been selected to be Samsung Electronic's Zipel new face, joining the brand's veteran ambassador, actor-singer Lee Seung-gi.
According to Allkpop website, Samsung Electronics announced, "We have selected Lee Seung-gi and PSY to be this year's models for Zipel, our kimchi fridge brand."
They added, "We have chosen PSY to join Lee Seung-gi due to his rising popularity through "Gangnam Style"."
The two stars have already filmed their new commercial film and it will be released in mid September.
However, this is not the first time the two worked together. PSY had composed Lee's debut song "Because She's my Girl" in 2004 and a few others after that.
Meanwhile, this will be Lee Seung-gi's fourth year as the brand's ambassador. Samsung Electronic stated that the star has contributed a lot in their product's profitability since he was selected to represent Zipel.
