Raymond Lam and Rain Li to reunite
16 May – Rumour has it that former lovers, Raymond Lam and Rain Li, may be reunited for a new drama.
Asianpopnews reported that TVB has planned to replicate the success of Raymond and Rain's 2002 drama, "Lofty Waters Verdant Bow" and reportedly plans to reunite them again, as well as co-star Michelle Ye.
It was also alleged that TVB has offered Rain an attractive fee of HKD 40,000 per episode for her return, dubbed higher than that of Raymond and Michelle's.
However, Rain denied receiving any offers as reported, but stated, "My mum usually handles the offers for me. She might have not told me about it yet."
When asked on her thoughts about reuniting with her ex-boyfriend in a drama, the actress simply answered, "I do not mind working with Raymond and acting as a couple together. However, I can only start filming in August."
"Lofty Waters Verdant Bow" was a blockbuster series when it was launched in 2002. The drama also created a lot of hype and rumours of a love triangle for its lead actors, Raymond, Rain and Michelle.
