See U-KISS' Alexander this Sat!

13 Dec – Come this holiday season, do not miss the rare opportunity to watch live performances by your favourite Asian celebrities, such as Alexander, former member of South Korean boy band U-KISS and Farenheit's Aaron Yan at Bukit Jalil this Saturday, according to Daily Chilli.

It will be the fifth year of ntv7's popular Star Live Concert, and this 2011 promises to showcase bigger acts such as the stars named above and many others which include Taiwanese Mandopop star Anthony Neely, singer-songwriter Sam Lee, Taiwanese powerhouse Della Ding Dang, Hong Kong rock band Mr, as well as Malaysia's One Million Star winner, Jess Lee, to name a few.

23-year-old Alexander will demonstrate his multilingual skills by performing a variety of different songs in English, Cantonese and Korean.

The former rapper of U-KISS is currently busy polishing up his Cantonese for the concert. As if that is not nerve-wrecking enough, he also admitted that since leaving U-KISS, performing at a big-scale show makes him nervous every time.

"Previously I have six other members to cover different aspects of a performance. Now I have to do it all by myself. Honestly, it was tough and I was rather apprehensive," said the Hong Kong-born heartthrob.

"However, there should be no problem! Previously each member only gets to sing for around half a minute. Now I get to sing solo for three minutes. Hopefully you guys will enjoy it," he added in Cantonese in a phone interview with the Malaysian press.

When asked about performing a Mandarin number, Alexander laughed and replied, "I would love to, but my Mandarin pronunciation is not perfect."

However, fans will get to watch Alexander perform in Mandarin for his personal showcase that will take place on the following day of the concert. A total of 13 songs is planned in addition to a highly varied wardrobe.

"It'll be the theme song of a Chinese idol drama. It'd be my first time singing a Chinese song, so hopefully I can do it right," Alexander quipped.

Meanwhile, fans can expect to get a glimpse of Sam Lee's upcoming concert in Taiwan as the singer promised to incorporate part of the set list into his performance at Star Live Concert 2011.

An excited Lee also revealed that he planned to have a concert in Malaysia after his Taiwan concert at the end of the year.

Star Live Concert 2011 will be held at Carpark A of Bukit Jalil National Stadium will begin at 8.30pm this Saturday, 17 November.
