31 Oct – S.H.E member Selina Jen was in tears while speaking of her tragic injury at a recent event for the group's new album.
As reported on Asianpopnews, speaking to the media at a press conference, the reunited group announced that they would be releasing their latest album, "The Flower Blooms Again" today, to coincide with Selina's 31st birthday.
The singer, who suffered burns on her body due to a tragic mishap while filming a movie two years ago, told the media that everybody called her flaming phoenix after the accident.
In tears, the singer expressed, "Everyone called me a 'flaming phoenix'. I didn't know what it was so I checked it and found out that it (phoenix) burns into flames after dying. It will then reborn into a new phoenix. The sound of the reformed phoenix will be louder and its wings will be thicker."
The singer also praised her co-star Ham Yu's courage for being able to return to the accident scene. When asked if she would be brave enough to return to the location, Selena broke up in tears again.
Ella then chimed in, saying, "We need to move on."
