22 May – ABK48 member Shinoda Mariko is taking a break from Twitter, after she had inadvertently caused a stir with a string of posts attached with off-shots of other members from the idol group.
According to Tokyo Hive, Shinoda gave her followers and fans quite a shock when she suddenly Tweeted: "I will briefly take a break from Twitter." on 19 May.
This was followed by a clarification that she was not going to stop updating her fans at the site, but will return 'once Twitter has become peaceful'.
Fans are speculating that she is taking a break, as a result of her posting up shots of members Kitahara Rie, Takajo Aki, Maeda Atsuko, Oshima Yuko, Miyazawa Sae, Takahashi Minami, Yokoyama Yui, Sashihara Rino and Kashiwagi Yuki, without their make-up.
However, the cheeky Shinoda continued to update her Google+ with a picture of Watanabe Mayu without make-up, but sadly reported that "Nyaro (Kojima Haruna) and Tomochin (Itano Tomomi) got away".
Lastly, she teased fans with a Tweet that read; "my face without make-up" that was attached with a photo of a different person.
