Will Smith ‘kisser’ apologises

Will Smith’s now infamous “kisser” has apologised for invading the actor’s space.

Ukrainian reporter Vitalii Sediuk was slapped in the face by the Men In Black 3 star after he tried to kiss Will inappropriately at the Moscow premiere of the movie.

Hip Hollywood spoke to the man, known for playing pranks on celebrities, who said he regretted his actions.

“I’m sorry, Will,” Vitalii said contritely. “It was a splash of emotion. I do apologise for my behaviour… I think it was too much.”

“Will Smith is a person who I deeply respect as an actor. When I met him in Moscow, I wanted to do something to impress him.

“We have a Slavic tradition. I don’t kiss every man or woman when I see them in the street… but that time I decided to do that. Next time, if I meet him, I’ll just shake his hand.”

Will told David Letterman this week that he wasn’t impressed with the reporter’s actions.

"They told me this is his schtick," Will explained. "[So I replied] Well, that's why his ass got schtuck."
