Steven Ma returns to filming after a day of rest

6 Sep– After his second injury at the set of TVB drama, "Property Protector", Steven Ma has finally recovered and returned to the set to continue filming.

As reported on Oriental Daily website, the actor was previously hospitalised for heatstroke, caused by the strenuous filming schedule in the hot summer weather in Guangdong, China.

Three packets of saline were administered to Steven after the doctor stated that the heat has worsened his existing chronic heart condition.

After only a day of rest, on 3 September, the actor decided not to delay filming and returned to the set.

However, Steven revealed that while filming a war scene near a dam, they found out that the dam was to be drained of water after the recent typhoon, which gave them only five minutes to evacuate the location.

The actor expressed, "It was really scary. Luckily, we did finish the scene before the drainage begun. Even the producer (Leung Choi Yuen) thought it was a stroke of good luck!"
