Super Junior Shindong Almost Split with his Girlfriend

Having publicly revealed his girlfriend, Super Junior’s Shindong shared about a time when the couple almost broke up.

Appearing on SBS’ Strong Heart on July 17, Shindong shared that his girlfriend got extremely upset with him because her friend saw him kissing another girl at a bar.





“I told her that it was a misunderstanding and that I wouldn’t do such a thing since I already publicly announced my relationship with her,” said Shindong. “But she believed that it was me since whatever girl I was with, people would easily assume that it was my girlfriend.”

Due to busy Super Junior schedules, Shindong started to talk to his girlfriend less and eventually saw a picture of his girlfriend with another man on her SNS page.

“When people asked me about her, I said, ‘I think we broke up.’”

However, the man in the photo was a friend that Shindong also knew, and in the midst of situation, Shindong misunderstood their relationship.

“I talked it out with my girlfriend and now we’re doing fine.”
