Supernova recently marked its third anniversary as a group with a special time with its Japanese fans.
On October 16, Supernova opened its third anniversary debut commemoration event in Chiba’s Makeharu Messe.
Attracting some 15,000 fans, the event was divided into two parts with the first half holding a handshake with the members session which was followed up with the second half consisting of live performances from the members and a special discussion time.
The Supernova members expressed their gratitude for their fans’ longtime support and love and promised to be with the fans not only a year later but 20 years later as well.
Member Park Geon Il also shared on Supernova’s goals for the next year saying, “We haven’t placed first on the Oricon chart yet but it’s our goal. Next year Yun Hak is returning from his military service so we want to show all six members together again.”
The members also performed six tracks for the fans including the group’s debut track and their latest single, She’s Gone.
After having released some 60 songs in Japan, Supernova will be releasing a 2-CD best compilation album which will include both solo tracks and group tracks. The tracks that will make it on the Supernova Collections album will be voted on by fans and be released on December 19.
The members will also kick off an event tour, Fantastic Choshinsei, in collaboration with Mnet Japan which will take them through six cities from December 13 through 26.
