5 Sept - With the situation getting out of hand, it was revealed that T-ARA's former rapper Hwa-young breaks her silence about the bullying controversy .
As reported on Koreaboo website, the former member took to Twitter and wrote, "After reading several articles about Eun-jung's departure from her drama, I felt uneasy. It is true that there were confrontations due to differences in opinions with the T-ARA members while I was promoting with them. However, with the stories about bullying going around and the situation growing worse, I felt hurt."
Hwa-young stated that both T-ARA and herself are hurt and disturbed by the distorted facts about the issue.
She added, "However, there were times when I was happy while we were all under one roof, so I want to forget about the past and want us to cheer each other. You all showed so much love and attention to T-ARA, so I'm very sorry for having caused concern and worry through this incident to everyone."
This came after the various incidents and public backlash that have befallen the group members due to Hwa-young's termination. Various online communities have demanded for the removal of Hyo-min, So-yeon, and Eun-jung's drama roles – causing So-yeon's screen time on KBS' "Lovers of Haeundae" reduced, Eun-jung to be removed from her leading role in SBS' "Five Fingers" and both Eun-jung and Ji-yeon edited from their cameo in "Shut Up Family". The group was also pulled from their websites and advertisements.
