TVXQ Becomes Legend in Tokyo Concert Series

From April 14 through 16, TVXQ’s TVXQ Live Tour 2012 – Tone took place in Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. The Tokyo leg of TVXQ’s tour attracted approximately 165,000 people over the course of three days.




Following the concert’s run, Japan’s Sankei Sports revealed the group had made history as it reported, “An overseas artist holding concerts at the Tokyo Dome for three consecutive days is the first in eleven years after Michael Jackson and Backstreet Boys.”

In addition, TVXQ’s upcoming fan event in Saitama in June and Kobe in July is expected to attract some 100,000 individuals, which will make it the largest fan club event in Japan thus far. The fan club events in Saitama will take place on June 30 and July 1 and on July 7 and 8 in Kobe.

At the concerts, the duo performed a total of 25 of their best tracks to the thunderous reaction from fans. TVXQ will next move on to the final leg of its tour in Osaka, where it will hold concerts from April 21 through the 23.
