Virginir Lau has no need for knock-offs
15 Jul – Miss Hong Kong 2013 contestant, Virginir Lau recently dismissed rumours about her love for counterfeit clothes.
As reported on Apple Daily, another popular candidate for the pageant crown, Karen Lam, started a controversy when she accused Virginir of only wearing imitation brands.
However, while speaking to the media at TVB City, the 22-year-old contestant has debunked the rumour and clarified, "I don't wear knock-offs and I don't really know who Karen is. I have no idea what is going on."
Virginir disclosed that she is not the kind to wear branded clothes; therefore, she has no need to buy cheap imitations in the first place. She added light-heartedly, "Beautiful people will look good in anything."
When asked if Karen may be jealous of her beauty, Virginir replied, "Possibly!"
