25 Sep – Actor Wallace Cheung is one lucky man. After signing on to play a role in Johnny To's new movie, "Drug War", the actor now signs another contract – this time with the director's management company.
Popular Asians website reported that the actor stated, "I have been doing Chinese dramas far too long, so now I think switching my focus to filming projects in Hong Kong will be a fresh change."
The actor added that different environments are good for an actor, so they could challenge themselves for the better.
Despite being born and raised in Hong Kong, the actor has been more popular in mainland China through various drama series, even winning "Most Popular Actor" at the China TV Golden Eagle Awards. Before that, he also made his debut as a singer in Taiwan.
He continued, "Now that I'm under a new management company in Hong Kong, I think there will be more opportunities for me to explore singing."
