Jung Hyung Don said that when he was caught in a slump and tried to leave MBC′s Infinity Challenge, Yoo Jae Suk was the one who had stopped him.
"[Yoo] Jae Suk hyung (big brother) held on to me. He held onto my heart," he said.
Jung Hyung Don was saved by Yoo Jae Suk in his time of need; how about Gil and Gary?
The situation isn′t exactly the same, but Yoo Jae Suk′s variety programs have recently hit disaster yet again. Gil of Infinity Challenge and Gary of Running Man have said they′ll be leaving their shows due to the situation surrounding the Super 7 Concert.
Jung Hyung Don confessed on the September 24 broadcast of Healing Camp that he once tried to quit Infinity Challenge, but Yoo Jae Suk and producer Kim Tae Ho had tried to persuade him for three whole months. Yoo Jae Suk especially acted as a mentor and tried to give Jung Hyung Don advice on how to pull through.
This situation matches up somewhat with LeeSsang Gary and Gil′s situation now. Gil and Gary work with Yoo Jae Suk in MBC′s Infinity Challenge and SBS′ Running Man.
Following the cancellation of the Super 7 Concert on September 21, Gil and Gary announced through Twitter that they will be leaving variety. Viewers were caught off-guard, and Haha and Jung Joon Ha asked their fans to ′pray′ for them.
The most probable solution to getting LeeSsang to turn around is said to be Yoo Jae Suk, because like Jung Hyung Don said, he often becomes the ′hyung that holds on′.
Fortunately for everyone, the situation seems to be more brighter than before. The producers of Running Man have said that Gary will not be leaving the show, while LeeSsang has stayed quiet on the issue since the members′ sudden announcements. The tables may turn dramatically.
The shooting of Infinity Challenge coming up on September 27 is expected to be an indication of how the situation is going. If at least one out of the two leaves his show, it becomes highly probable that the other will follow.
Viewers are looking forward to what leadership Yoo Jae Suk will show in the dire situation.
