4 Oct – William Chan wants audiences to differentiate his movie with Wong Jing's new remake!
According to Asian Crunch website, speaking to the media after the Macau Special National Day concert on 2 October, William Chan talked about his new movie, "Triad". When asked if there would be similarities between his movie and Wong Jing's new version of hit mid 90s hit, "Young and Dangerous", Chan stated, "The two movies are set in different eras and there can't be any comparisons."
With the casting of the chiselled Him Law as Chan Ho Nam, reporters also asked Chan if he would feel threatened with the replacement. However, the singer stated "Since the arrival of foreign male models (A&F models), Hong Kong girls finally realised what a pretty male physique really looks like. If any comparison should be made it should be made with them. I didn't actually want to get bigger, I only love weight training."
Meanwhile, among the entertainers who performed at the Macau Special National Day concert included Joey Yung, Raymond Lam, Adason Lo, Sherman Chung, William Chan and Soler.
