The rookie group Wonder Boyz, already popular as DJ DOC′s juniors, will be finally making its debut through a live showcase.
The group, comprised of members Bak Chi Gi, Young Boy, K and Master One, will be holding its showcase in Seoul on October 15, a day before its single is due to be released.
The showcase will be relayed live through the internet broadcasting site Ustream. The site also previously relayed Psy′s free Seoul Plaza concert live.
240 fans from those who applied through Wonder Boyz′s official fan cafe have been invited to attend the showcase.
A rep from ENT102 said about the small number, "The showcase won′t be in the large-scale concert form often used these days, so we chose a fixed number to have the singer and fans come closer together."
Through the showcase, Wonder Boyz plans to perform its first single cut live, as well as sing the tracks from its upcoming album one by one. DJ DOC, comedian Han Min Gwan, WE and Fresh Boyz will also be performing in surprise performances to show their support.
Wonder Boyz will be performing ′Ppong-tronic′, a new type of music presented it by the hit-making composer Shinsadong Tiger. The genre brings together electronic moods with bouncy and cheap Korean dance music called ppong.
