Yao Yuan Hao blames Sonia Sui

30 Jan – Faced with overwhelming criticism from the public regarding his reconciliation with singer Cyndi Wang, who was dubbed as the third party in his relationship with former girlfriend, Sonia Sui, Yao Yuan Hao finally broke his silence and revealed his side of the story in regards to his love life.

Asianpopnews reported that at the publicity event for his latest drama, "The Red Riding Hood & The Small Wolf", Yuan Hao revealed, "Sonia initiated the breakup two years ago after I went to a night club to pick up my sister. She was angry with me that I thought maybe I am not the kind of guy she wants."

The actor alleged that after their breakup, he met Cyndi at a friend's gathering and started to express his problems to her.

He stressed, "We met each other after the breakup. When we were photographed vacationing at Kenting and hugged at a car park, Sonia and I have already broken up."

The actor admitted that he and Sonia rekindled their relationship a few months later but it was a short reunion and they broke off again.

When asked if Sonia may have not understood the situation of their relationship, Yuan Hao shook his head and stated, "She knows exactly what is going on. There is no need to explain. I gave it all to this relationship. There was not reservation and I did not put myself on top of others."

In regards to Yuan Hao's explanation, Sonia's manager remarked, "He can say whatever he wants but the truth remains the same. We're not sure if his purpose is for his new girlfriend or for the publicity of his latest drama. It's heartbreaking. Their justifications keep changing, so we cannot be bothered to respond. Please do not drag Sonia in. I believe she will give them her blessings."
