20 Oct – YG Entertainment has debunked rumours circulating in the media about the fall out between the agency and their popular trainee, "K-Pop Star" alum, Michelle Lee.
According to Alkpop website, recently, rumours have spread that the former "K-Pop Star" contestant Michelle Lee has been experiencing some conflict with YG Entertainment and hasn't been going to YG Entertainment due to differences of opinion.
However, representative of YG Entertainment refuted the claims, stating, "There is absolutely no problem between YG and Michelle Lee. We are not sure where those rumours came from."
The rep continued, "YG currently has a lot of trainees and sometimes, some of them have personal things come up and can't attend practice. Lee Michelle is merely one of those cases. It doesn't mean she has a conflict with YG."
The rep added that they believe the media blew the situation out of proportion and exaggerated a normal situation.
After the conclusion of SBS' "K-Pop Star", Michelle Lee has signed on as YG Entertainment's trainee. The singer then joined by alumni Park Ji-min, Lee Jung-mi and Lee Seung-joo to re-establish their popular "K-Pop Star" project group, Su Pearls under the agency.
