‘THE DARK KNIGHT’ TRILOGY (2005): The Batmobile depicted in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’ trilogy, called the Tumbler, took inspiration from Frank Miller's ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Returns’ comics. The production designer stated that the Tumbler has a much more 'workhorse' appearance compared to the previous Bat rides, and a cross between a Lamborghini and a tank.
