2PM’s Wooyoung Wins Best 2012 ‘Men’s Health’ Cover Model
2PM’s Wooyoung’s hard work at the gym has paid off!
After gracing the cover of Men’s Health for July, Wooyoung was nominated at the 7th Men’s Health Cool Guy Awards in the best cover model category before being notified he was the winner.
The Men’s Health Cool Guy Awards recognizes men who are healthy both inside and out, and selects a best cover model winner among the models between July of 2011 and July of 2012.
Despite facing stiff competition from other stars including Cha Seung Won, Choo Shin Soo and more, Wooyoung won the coveted prize, making him the second 2PM member to win the award after Chansung in 2010.
Regarding his win, Wooyoung said, “I’m the fourth 2PM member to appear on the cover of Men’s Health but I became the second recipient of the best cover award. I’m extremely happy to win such an award right before my solo activities. Thank you.”
Wooyoung will make an appearance the Grand Hilton on June 28 for the Men’s Health Cool Guy Awards to pick up his award.
