‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’ Finally Breaks 20 Percent in Ratings

SBS’ A Gentleman’s Dignity finally broke the 20 percent barrier in ratings, coming out as number one between shows sharing the same time slot.

Aired on June 24, episode 10 of A Gentleman’s Dignity recorded ratings of 20.3 percent, a 1.7 percent rise from episode 9’s 18.6 percent from June 23 according to AGB Nielson Media.

This is the first time the drama has knocked over KBS’ comedy program, Gag Concert since the beginning of its run. Gag Concert recorded 18 percent and MBC’s Time Slip Dr. Jin had 12.7 percent in ratings.

Meanwhile, on episode 10 of A Gentleman’s Dignity, Seo Yi Soo (Kim Ha Neul) makes a fake confession to Kim Do Jin to save her roommate’s relationship, but furious about the confession, Kim Do Jin (Jang Dong Gun) announces to Seo Yi Soo that he’s going to stop liking her.

But the forced separation doesn’t last long as the two ending up coming back to each other, foreshadowing the beginning of a romantic relationship.
