Aimee Chan is pregnant
21 May – A new rumour has emerged regarding Aimee Chan's sudden withdrawal from upcoming drama, "Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon", with sources speculating that the 32-year-old actress might be pregnant.
As reported on Asianpopnews website, the actress, who turned down her already confirmed role a few weeks shy from filming commencement, cited health issues to be one of the reasons of her withdrawal.
On 19 May, the actress excused herself again from the promotional event of TVB drama, "Slow Boat Home", stating the same reason.
Meanwhile, sources claimed that Aimee was also easily tired and feeling sleepy most of the time while filming "Outbound Love" in Malaysia and would seldom join the crew members for supper.
One of the sources alleged, "Aimee immediately went for a check-up after returning to Hong Kong. When she got the news, she was happy but didn't know what to do. She decided to quit from "Cold Mountain, Hidden Dragon", seeing that it is a Wuxia drama and will require a lot of fight scenes."
It was also rumoured that the couple will register for marriage shortly, as Aimee have reportedly taken three weeks of leave and has informed TVB that she might extend her leave and stay in Canada till end of the year.
Meanwhile, Moses Chan, who refused to comment on the wedding rumour, finally relented and said, "I will inform you all if I were to get married, but I also wish to reserve my privacy. I will not share every single step with everyone."
