Angelababy and Nick Cheung are HKFA's Best Dressed
15 Apr – Stars from Hong Kong, China and Taiwan shined recently at the 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards. From Isabella Leong's Valentino gown, Sammi Cheng's Roberto Cavalli number, to Carina Lau's sheer embellished trousers designed by Ralph and Russo, it was a triumphant night for fashion.
However, in the end it was model-actress Angelababy and actor Nick Cheung who won the Best Dressed awards, according to Mingpao.
Receiving a Piaget 18k rose gold and diamond pendant for being the best-dressed star of the night, Angelababy's seven-figure pink evening gown was so glamorous and heavy, that she needed three assistants to help her pose for a photo.
The "Young Detective Dee" actress, who wore Zuhair Murad design, stated that she has taken full safety precautions and was not afraid of any wardrobe malfunction.
Meanwhile, Nick, who wore a black Gucci jacket, a traditional shirt and a bow tie with a pair of orange pants, won a Piaget 18K platinum cufflinks for being the best dressed actor of the night.
Though he jokingly expressed his fear of not winning Best Actor after winning Best Dressed, the actor ended up winning both title instead.
