Anna Kay enters Japan for career

24 Apr – Chinese model Anna Kay plans to further her career in Japan and would be beginning her activities in the country this year.

According to Tokyo Hive, the 5'6'' model from China who was fascinated Japanese with her appearance in a Shiseido commercial in December last year, said that she would start by becoming a recognised face in the Japanese market.

She is currently a model for women's magazine CanCam but Kay, who is a graduate from China's premier dramatic arts university of The Central Academy of Drama, intends to pursue her passions in singing and acting.

"From a young age, I developed an interest in Japanese culture. I want to be able to be loved in Japan for many years to come," she said.

Kay, with her alluring big eyes, is popularly known as 'The Queen of Cute' or 'The Founder of Prettyism' in China. She has already released her first single "Duan Yi Tianshi (Broken Winged Angel)" that was ranked second in Hong Kong's Golden Melody chart.
