Annie Liu signs with Nicky Wu's company
25 Dec – Taiwanese actress Annie Liu has recently signed with Nicky Wu's company, Daocao Xiong, in her effort to expand her career in mainland China.
As reported on Wenweipo News, the actress, who has worked with Nicky on the hit TV series "Bu Bu Jing Xin" previously, recently appeared in Beijing for the official event welcoming her into the family.
To show sincerity, Nicky personally gave her a blank contract, stating that Annie has the freedom to fill it in, which the actress sealed with a lipstick to signify her agreement.
While Annie has been working on her own since leaving her Hong Kong agency Filmko, she decided to sign with Nicky's company when it comes to her mainland work.
She stated, "Nicky and I have been friends for many years. He is like a big brother to me, who sometimes helps me solve my problem. He is also very consistent with his direction when it comes to work, so we quickly hit it off."
In related news, Nicky revealed that his studio will be producing a new drama next year, as well as investing in several different productions outside mainland China.
The actor is also determined to bring more opportunities for his artistes in the long run.
