Athena & Paul's expensive baby banquet
30 Jan – More than three months after the birth of their baby girl, actress Athena Chu and musician Paul Wong celebrated their daughter's first 100 days of life by holding a private banquet.
According to Jayne Stars, recently, the couple invited 60 of their close friends and family to their 100-day baby banquet. It was reported that the feast held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui allegedly cost a total of a six-figure sum.
One of Athena's good friends in the industry, Monica Chan, was also spotted at the banquet. However, Ada Choi, who is currently pregnant with her second child, was absent from the event as the actress is away in mainland China.
Athena, who has been staying at home after giving birth to her first baby in October, has already shed her pregnancy weight and looked stunning in her slim figure.
However, when asked about the 100-day banquet, Paul Wong denied the reports of a costly event, saying, "No, we were just having a meal with friends."
